From the temporary return of legal status for dozens of international students to a big-name lawsuit over federal influence in academic affairs, we’re rounding up the top-line figures from some of our biggest stories of the week.

By the numbers   133 The number of international students who have had their legal status restored following a federal judge's order. The judge ruled that the students were likely to prove the federal government had unlawfully terminated their legal statuses and would suffer if the revocations were allowed to continue during their lawsuit.   9 The number of federal agencies Harvard University is suing over allegations they are withholding federal funding “as leverage to gain control of academic decisionmaking.″ The Trump administration has repeatedly attacked Harvard, including by freezing $2.2 billion in contracts and grants, after the Ivy League institution rebuffed its ultimatum to keep federal funding.   479 The number of colleges now designated as Opportunity Colleges and Universities, which is Carnegie Classifications’ new category for institutions that both substantially boost student access and earnings. The American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching released a system redesign this week aimed at better reflecting the diversity of college missions.   $6 million The emergency funding Limestone University said it needs to stay open and continue teaching in person. The South Carolina institution's board said Tuesday it may have found the “financial lifeline” it needs to avoid shutting down but offered few details.   55 The number of hour-long listening sessions Pasco-Hernando State College President Jesse Pisors held during a three-month campus tour after he became the institution’s leader.
